Often when we talk about people with money or with out we call people rich. But what is being rich really? At what point do you become rich. What if you make 1 million dollars a year but but you have a huge house and expensive cars and so after gas and food you have no money to do other things? What rich means to me is that you have enough money that you can do what you want with out having to make a choice. For example if you can get season tickets to the Bills and still go see some sabres games you might be rich. But if you have to chose then you wouldn't be rich. Do I want a new computer or a new TV then you are not rich. But if you Walk into best buy and pay with cash or a debit card for nice big TV and a computer with a HD monitor and Bluray disc player you are rich. I want to also explain that I'm talking about being rich and not wealth. Someone might say they are the same, but they are not. Being rich is just about how much money you have. When you figure in wealth you figure in things. For example you own land, cars, fancy jewels , or pricey art those things are counted into your wealth. Hey maybe you don't have a dime to your name but you have all that stuff (and you own it) then you are wealthy. I know I'm not rich, but am I poor. My paycheck doesn't make me feel poor, but I also don't figure out how much a make a year and then figure out if that makes me poor. I know sometimes I feel both rich and poor. For example right now I don't have much food in the house so I feel poor. When I sit up at the glass at a Bandits game I feel rich. When I forget to pay bills I feel poor. When I was at the Penguins game I felt rich. When I go to a game and can't really spend money on food and do it anyways I feel poor. When I want a small TV (so I can watch Hockey and a show at the same time) and don't have the money I feel poor. When I'm at an event and think these are nice seats then think that if I had a women I might not have the money for both of us then I feel poor. But then when i think hey the temps are paid less them I am then I feel rich. I think that I'm neither poor nor rich. I think that you are what you feel. So maybe when I feel rich I am and when I feel poor I am, not really sure?
